Mickey Avalon, my favorite band since they started in the 80's, has been a band that I love. They are more than just a Hair-Band, rising to popularity during the 'hair-band' era. While most rock groups of the day centered their lyrics around sex and partying, Mickey Avalon stuck to making the music that they loved and believed in. The bulk of their lyrics center around staying positive during hard times, following your dreams, and loving your neighbor, all played while rocking-it-out on stage.
Jeff Keith's vocals especially stood out at this show, and it was incredible. He was ready to go straight to the studio. I can also say that Dave Rude is no longer just a replacement in the band; he has become part of Mickey Avalon.
In the last few years, this was the fourth time I have seen Mickey Avalon. I have loved every show! Mickey Avalon always appreciates their fans and brings it 100% on stage.
